Defending the Qur’ān

It has become common among the people to play around with the Book of Allāh right in our midst.

The one who does not even believe in its verses interprets them, and tries to make them mean something that they do not mean, nor do they imply linguistically [what he wants them to imply]. [He tries to do this] Until it agrees with what he believes or what he is influenced by from the polytheistic and atheistic European beliefs, or until it brings him closer to their traditions and ethics – if they have any.

They want to make Islām a “modern” religion, modern according to him and his masters whose milk he suckled [who he was influenced by], or in whose nurseries he was brought up.

[They are a] People who deny everything that is related to the unseen world [al-Ghayb], constantly debating and moving around with the goal of making it agree with the laws of the natural and physical world, or what he sees to be the laws of the natural and physical world, if he can even see, rather it is what he thinks Europe sees [as he can not see nor think for himself].

Yes, of course there is no problem, according to him, to believe in anything metaphysical if his European masters approve of it, even if it is a superstition.

[Then we have] The complete ignoramus who knows nothing about Islām, he has no shame to manipulate [and misinterpret] the different recitations [Qirā’āt] of the Qur’ān and its miraculous, Semitic nature. He denies and belies all the Huffāth that have memorized, and narrated [to us]. He does all of this out of blind fanaticism towards the Franks [Western Europeans] who wish to do away with this Book [the Qur’ān] which no falsehood approaches from any direction, and who wish to make it equal to their books.
